Facility, Vessel, & Company Security Officer (FSO/VSO/CSO) Training

This 3-day course provides knowledge to those who may be designated to perform duties and responsibilities as a Facility, Vessel, or Company Security Officer (FSO/VSO/CSO) and meets the regulatory requirements of 33 CFR 104.210, 104.215, and 105.205. The course provides participants with instruction on all relevant regulations and includes practical hands-on activities.

USCG Course Approval: Participants receive a certificate with USCG approval at the conclusion of the course. This course has been reviewed and certified through the USCG approval process. The FSO elements of this course are marked as “reviewed” by the USCG as they do not certify FSO courses.

Eligibility: This course is open to all personnel who meet the following requirements:

1. Have or are seeking employment with a reputable company
2. Have a letter from the owner/operator attesting to assigned duties on behalf of an owner/operator
3. Licensed mariners
4. Students
5. Other approved sources
