ICS 300 for Marine Fires and Spills - September 27-29
This is a three-day ICS 300 - Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents course with an emphasis on marine fires and spills. This course complies with California Spill Management Team regulatory training requirements for initial and cascading response personnel.

About the Event
This ICS 300 course was designed for those who use the Incident Command System to respond to marine fires and [oil/hazardous substance] spills. The course maintains the framework and learning objectives of a traditional ICS 300 course, with all scenarios, course activities, handouts, reference material, and an additional module all tailored to the unique applicability of ICS to the marine fire and spill community. Amergent Techs' instructors are highly qualified and have decades of experience as responders, exercise designers, and ICS trainers.
PREREQUISITES: Students must complete ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, and ICS 800 prior to taking this course.
This training course has been audited and approved by ABS to verify compliance with various agency (FEMA/USCG/EPA/NIMS) ICS 300 course standards as well as the standards defined in the ABS Guide for Certification of Maritime Education Facilities and Training Courses (G-CMET).
This course meets the regulatory requirements for "equivalent courses" as defined in the California Code of Regulations, Subchapter 5. Spill Management Team Certification (14 CCR 830.5).
